Who we are

A bridge across the product craft.

Product Makers Romania brings together engineers, designers, marketers and product managers, everyone who has a hand in building and growing digital products.

We are a bridge between experienced product leaders and those just starting out. Everything we run is free and powered by volunteers, organised around three things: connecting with the community, growing your craft, and building real-world impact.

  • Product managers
  • Designers
  • Engineers
  • Product marketers
  • Founders

What we run

  • About 30 mentors and 200 mentees in each edition, online.

  • Nearly 300 people and more than 35 speakers across our last three editions.

  • Learning SeriesEvery few weeks

Evenings at partner offices in Bucharest and talks online, with 60 or more people signed up for most sessions.

  • About 100 people building for civic causes over one weekend.

  • Informal evenings over drinks, in 10 cities and counting.

Why partner

Four reasons companies show up

Show people how your team works

Host an event at your office. Product people meet your team in person, and you open the evening with a few words about who you are and what you work on.

Learning Series, meetups, Product Jam

Grow your own team

Your senior people apply to mentor in our programs and your newer colleagues join as mentees. Both learn from product people outside your company, at no cost.

Mentoring Program, Alternative School of Product, Adopt a Product

Teach something you know

If your team knows a topic well, plan a Learning Series session on it with us. Every session goes through the same selection, partner or not.

Give back

Support the Civic Producthon, a weekend where product people build tools for civic causes. Bring your venue, your tools, prizes or mentors.

Ways to help

Almost everything partners have given us so far has been in kind.

Host an event

Meetups and Learning Series evenings need a room for 40 or more people, a screen, Wi-Fi and someone from your team on site. Food and drinks help. We bring the program and the people. If you have the space, we can usually plan something within a few weeks.

Adobe Romania, Booking Holdings Romania and eMAG have hosted us.

Food and drinks

Cover the catering at an evening, a breakfast, or the after-hours at Product Jam.

Stripe covered the Product Jam 2025 after-hours. BCR fed the first Producthon.

Your people

Your experienced people apply as mentors, Adopt a Product advisors, Alt School trainers or Producthon judges.

Calls open before every edition.

Tools and prizes

Licences, credits, vouchers or products for participants and winning teams.

Lovable, Uxcel, Voxa and Freshful did this for the Producthon.

Perks for members

A discount or a few free seats at your event, shared once with members on Slack.

How to Web, PROW and Product Circle have done this.

Three ways in

From one evening to a whole year

Back one event, or work with us across the calendar.

  1. Supporter

Back one event or one program edition.

    • One-off
    • Online or in person

Your logo on this page for six months, a mention and link in the Slack announcement to nearly 1,800 members, your logo on the event posters and on screen, and your name in the LinkedIn thank-you post.

  2. Exhibitor

Be in the room at one event.

    • One-off
    • In person

Everything in Supporter, plus a roll-up or a stand at the venue and seats for your team where the event is ticketed. If you host, a few minutes at the start to welcome people.

  3. Partner

Work with us across the year.

    • Yearly

Everything in Exhibitor for each event you support, plus a post of its own for each one, a Learning Series session built with you when the topic fits, and a named credit for what you provide, like vibe-coding partner.

How support works today

Product Makers is a registered association, Asociația Product Makers, so we can sign a standard sponsorship contract with your company.

Most partners still support us in kind (a room, food, tools, prizes, people). You can also pay a supplier directly, like the caterer or the printer, and we credit it as yours.

Made possible

Three partnerships up close

A full room at Adobe Romania for a panel at Product Jam 2026

Adobe hosted Product Jam, twice

Adobe Romania opened its Bucharest office to Product Jam, our one-day conference, in 2025 and again in June 2026, and took care of the photography. Its people sat in the audience and spoke on stage.

Product Jam 2026

eMAG hosted a civic hackathon

eMAG hosted the second Civic Producthon at its Bucharest headquarters, a weekend of teams building AI products for civic causes, and gave JBL speakers as prizes.

Booking hosted an evening on AI

Booking Holdings Romania hosted a Learning Series evening on how AI is changing product decisions. More than 60 people came, and Booking took care of the food.

What a partnership doesn't buy

  • Our members' contact details. We never share or sell them. People who want to talk to you will find you.
  • A slot on the agenda. Your people speak when the topic fits, the same way everyone else does.
  • Mentions inside mentoring or training. Mentors and facilitators never plug a partner.
  • Extra work for volunteers. If an idea needs more than the event already does, you bring the people and the setup.

We thank partners in public, and we don't endorse them.
